James William Dickson, BSc, MBA, Chartered Director (Executive Chairman from April 2013). Prior to joining Brulines in 2003, James had worked in the brewing industry since 1990. Following an MBA at IMD, Lausanne in 1989 he joined Scottish & Newcastle, where he held several posts including Operations Director, and National Account Director for Pub Groups and Wholesalers. In 1997 James joined Whitbread as UK Dispense Director before being appointed Marketing & Sales Director for Heineken.
Mark Hardwick Foster, FCA (Finance Director)
Mark joined the Company in January 2006, having previously been Finance Director of Harrison & Clough Limited, a large independent distributor of fasteners and hand tools. Prior to this, Mark had worked as a Financial Controller in National Power plc, and Chief Financial Accountant at Pubmaster Limited (acquired in 2003 by Punch). Mark trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Mark is also responsible for the Group's company secretarial, human resources department and central support services department.
Stewart Darling (Chief Executive Officer from April 2013)
Stewart is the Group’s Chief Executive Officer with primary responsibility for the groups leisure market interests. He was appointed a Director of the Company on 2 September 2009.
Stewart has held various engineering management posts in both British Coal and the Ministry of Defence prior to joining Scottish and Newcastle in 1991 where, during the rapid growth of the business, he had several senior commercial roles including Sales Director and Customer Service Director for the UK On-Trade.
In 2005 he moved to France where he led the turn around and subsequent growth of the Brasseries Kronenbourg On-Trade business. In 2007 he became Group Sales Development Director with responsibility for driving sales growth in Scottish & Newcastle's joint venture as well as developing market businesses in Eastern and Western Europe.
